Baby Ernesto: My First Portrait (Framingham, MA)

Kelly & Matt came in to see me a couple of months ago for their maternity session. Since then, their beautiful son, Brayden, was born. At only a few weeks old, Brayden came in for his very first portrait session. I must say that Brayden rocked the baby hammocks!! Congrats Mom & Dad on a very adorable baby boy!

Diane and Matt were married yesterday at the Bedford Village Inn in Bedford, NH. Although we assumed snow and frost-covered trees for a January wedding, we were pleasantly surprised with springtime temperatures which allowed for some beautiful outdoor photos. Ceremony and reception were held inside the post & beam ballroom where Diane and Matt decorated with vibrant eggplant purples. Simply a gorgeous New England winter wedding. Congrats Diane & Matt!

Baby Effie (Framingham, MA)

Aris and Adam brought their daughter, Effie, in for her very first portrait session. Aris also brought in her 'push present' -- a blue topaz necklace, which will one day become an heirloom gift to her daughter. This lent itself to a photo (first image below). Congrats, Aris and Adam! Effie is such a beautiful, sweet baby girl.

Effie didn't care too much for the baby hammock....but even with tears she is a adorable!

Renee & Bob are the new proud parents of this beautiful baby, Rose. Rose is only 1 month old and came in for her first portrait session yesterday. Tiny, sweet and cute as a button -- I couldn't resist photographing her tiny hands and toes...and then of course her bum :) So precious! We even had time to photograph the Wagner's first family portrait as well as individual shots with Mom and Dad. Congrats Renee and Bob! Renee is a little gem.

KATE + DAVE: Old Sturbridge Village Wedding (Sturbridge, MA)

Kate + Dave were married this past weekend at Old Sturbridge Village in Kate's hometown. We shot Kate and Dave's formal photos prior to the ceremony to be able to capture some images during daylight hours. We started it off with a heart felt "first glance" on the village green (the first time Kate and Dave saw each other that day). It was really perfect! The evening ceremony took place in the old beautiful church. Glowing lanterns lit the gravel pathway to and from the church. Reception was held in the Oliver Wight Tavern. The fireplaces were going making the ballroom so warm and cozy after being out in the cold autumn air. The hit of the night on the dance floor certainly was the ring bearers and flower girl (oh! are they adorable!) Great wedding! Congrats Kate & Dave!

Baby Julius: 2 Months Old (Framingham, MA)

Mom, Sheranny, brought in her gorgeous baby boy, Julius, yesterday. He is only 2.5 months old. Julius' Dad, John, is serving in the military overseas in Italy. Last time he saw Julius he was only weeks old. Look how big he is now, Dad!

Julius' parents met while stationed in Texas. In honor of their service to the military, Sheranny brought custom made dog tags complete with birth date, height & weight and camouflage attire for Julius to wear. Adorable! HUGE THANKS to Sheranny & John as well as all the men & women who are serving (and have served) our country!

The Chan Family: Back for More! (Sudbury, MA)

New proud parents, Lani & Jason, just had a baby boy, Max! We shot his first portrait session at only 5 weeks old. And boy did Max do a great job! We were able to go from baby hammocks to Santa hats with no fussing at all. Lain & Jason even came up with a creative idea for the "special delivery" image -- suitcase, tag & all. Katie is a senior in high school. With a big year ahead of her, we had to start it off with some fabulous senior pictures. We shot Katie's session at the Wayside Inn in Sudbury, MA. ELIZABETH + ANTHONY: Wedding at Nonantum Resort (Keenebunkport, ME)

I met Elizabeth + Anthony at a wedding this past August and was honored when they asked me to photograph their November wedding in Maine. Everything took place the at Nonantum Resort right in the downtown area of quaint Kennebunkport. The Nonantum Resort overlooks a beautiful waterway inlet complete with its own lighthouse, where our couple's had their "first glance" followed by some formal photos to utilize the day light and beautiful sunset. The ceremony & reception took place inside where Elizabeth made every detail perfect with a coconut encrusted cake decorated with real clam shells and blueberry 'pearls', candles in mason jars light the room, mini pumpkin and pine cones decorated the tables. The evening ended with a plates full of whoopie pies, sliced cake and a rockin' dance floor. A an absolutely perfect day. Congrats Elizabeth & Anthony! Have a wonderful honeymoon in Florida!

Jacqueleen + Doueihi were married on the first snow day of 2011 making it an truly unforgettable day! The ceremony was held at Our Lady of the Cedars of Lebanon in Jamaica Plain and reception was held at Raffael's in Walpole, MA. Despite the rain and snow, Jacqueleen and Doueihi agreed to stop at Larz Anderson Park for some outdoor photos. Although brief, we were able to capture a few great fall foliage shots with the help of an umbrella and a brave bride. Both Jacqueleen and Doueihi's come from two wonderful Lebanese families and these people love a great party!! I have never seen such a fun and vibrant crowd! Cat + Rich were married at St. Mary's Church in Holliston and reception followed at Independence Harbor in Assonet, MA. On our way to the reception we stopped at Wellesley College to shoot the formal photos with the family and bridal party. Wellesley College has beautiful grounds and buildings that lent itself in creating some amazing wedding photos for Cat and Rich. This wedding brought together two wonderful and large families -- one Irish and the other Italian, which made for some excellent dance floor shots! Congrats Cat & Rich! Melissa + Dave were married at the First United Methodist Church in Melrose, MA. Reception was held at the beautiful Andover Country Club. The day couldn't have been more perfect for a fall wedding! Melissa & Dave completed their autumn decor with orange, cranberry and rust colored flowers and even served pumpkin spice sangria at their cocktail hour. We made it outdoors for photos just before the sun set. Shot these last two images during the reception when Melissa and Dave decide to catch a breathe of fresh air and pose for this photo in front of the country club's signature outdoor chandelier. The night finished off with a dance floor full of movers and shakers! Congrats Melissa & Dave! Have a fabulous honeymoon in Europe!

KERRI + JON: Hyatt Regency Hotel (Cambridge, MA)

Kerri & Jon were married at St. Ignatius of Loyola at Boston College. Since the ceremony was at 5:30 and the sun had set before we exited the church, we decided to do formal photos prior to the ceremony. We started with a "first glance" where Kerri & Jon met for the first time that day and captured some beautiful and intimate photos of just the two of them. Reception was held on the 16th floor at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Cambridge -- where views of Boston's city skyline were incredible! Kerri & Jon did a sports theme complete with peanuts holding baseball card for seating cards, fan flags topped each table with names of MVP players (Jon's a Philly s fan!) and even baseball inside the floral vases. We stopped traffic only a few times to capture the night time images on the corner of Memorial Drive. Congrats Kerri & Jon! Your wedding day was perfect!

Laura + Ryan's ceremony was held in the Abbey Church at St. Anselm College, where they met a few years back. The beautiful grounds at the college became the backdrop for our formal photos with so much to choose from -- ivy, manicured lawns, amazing architecture. The reception was at Sky Meadow Country Club in Nashua, NH. By the time we arrived the country club, the only bit of light left was a pinky-purple sky, just enough to capture a silhouette shot before Laura & Ryan were announced. The dance floor at this party didn't stop with this charismatic crowd! I think the photos tell all. Congrats Laura & Ryan!

Aimee told me yesterday that she knew she wanted to get married at CMAC even before she met Patrick. So this was a wedding dream come true! Aimee + Patrick exchanged their vows in the brick courtyard out front. The reception was held inside the CMAC building which is the old courthouse of Cambridge. Dinner and dancing took place in the ballroom boasting a wrap around balcony and ornate ceiling. Simply a perfect day. Congrats Aimee & Patrick!

Michelle + Jeremy are expecting a baby girl next month! An apple orchard seemed appropriate for their autumn arrival so off to Nashoba Valley Winery we went. Couldn't have asked for a more beautiful day. Congrats Michelle & Jeremy!

I met Kaitlyn a few years ago while she was waiting tables at one of my favorite restaurants that I frequented with my husband. Well now she's engaged and getting married to this fabulous guy, David. They are planning their wedding at Quidnessett Country Club in Rhode Island for next July. We shot their engagement session near the The Towers in Naragansett, RI, which was a runner up for the reception venue. Gorgeous September day made this photo shoot near the shore spectacular. Sarah + Adam were married at Zukas Hilltop Barn in Spencer, MA. The ceremony sat on top of a hill overlooking the rolling hills that surrounded it. Reception was following at under a big beautiful tent. Sarah and Adam wrote their own vows and read them aloud for all to hear. Although our bride and groom are only 25 years old, I learned just yesterday that they have been together for ten years! with so many people invested in these two made for an incredible celebration. Allison + Dan celebrated their marriage in Cape Cod style! Ceremony was held at St. Anthony's Church in Falmouth and reception was at the New Seabury Country Club -- which boasts a beautiful green golf course that overlooks the ocean. We rode golf carts down the the ocean which was certainly a fun highlight! Joke of the day was "Irene Who?" (which I credit to our humorous Groom, Dan)...the rain held off during our outdoor photo shoot and lighting was perfect! Allison and Dan leave tomorrow on their honeymoon to Napa Valley & Maui. RENEE + KEN: Belly Shoot on Snake Meadow Farm (Sterling, CT)

Renee + Ken are expecting a baby girl next month! We shot their maternity photos at her father's farm in Sterling, CT. Complete with cows, chickens, goats and even a little grape vineyard -- this farm was absolutely beautiful and a perfect spot for our photo session. I even left with a dozen farm fresh eggs, some homemade honey, one of their signatures wines, some goat cheese and even some incredibly long string beans. Such a fun afternoon! (thank you) Congrats Renee and Ken. Can't wait to meet Chloe!
